Bruce Wright JD, MEngSc, MBA, FAICD, MAusIMM, R.P.E.Q
Bruce Wright is the Director/Principal Mining Consultant with Wright Mining Consultants (WMC).
He has over 30 years of experience in mining that spans mine planning, mine design, mine infrastructure construction, equipment selection, mining operations, contract mining, blasting and economic evaluations. He has held management roles in WMC, Thiess, Leighton Contractors, GHD and Sumitomo Coal Mining and has acted as a Mining Consultant in coal, gold, nickel, iron ore, bauxite, silver-lead, copper, manganese, rare earths and uranium projects undertaking mine design, feasibilities, economic evaluations, due diligence, mine planning and feasibility studies.
Bruce has undertaken mining projects in QLD, NSW, NT, SA, WA, New Zealand, New Caledonia, Papua New Guinea, Sierra Leone, Saudi Arabia, Ghana West Africa and the Philippines.
He has a Master’s Degree in Engineering Science (Mining), an MBA and a Juris Doctor (JD) Law Degree with current mining qualifications SSE, First Class UG/ (MEM) and Opencut statutory Mine Manager qualifications. Bruce is also a Member of the AusIMM and has operated as a Registered Professional Engineer Mining in QLD since 2009 with current certificates for Standard 11 Induction, S1, 2 and 3 for Supervisors, G2 and G3 for OHS and Risk Management.
